Weight Management

Reaching your weight-loss goals isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. While diet and exercise are essential, sometimes you need extra support to achieve your desired results.

At INTERLOCKS, our experienced nurses offer weight loss injections, and they can guide you with a personalized treatment plan designed to help you lose weight. Our Nurse Practitioner will first meet with you and provide a private evaluation, and if recommended, will prescribe a Weight Loss Treatment Plan. Treatment Plans are offered in three ways: 4-week, 12-week, and 24-week, depending on your weight loss goals. Maintenance Plans are also available once goals are achieved.

Studies have shown that weight loss can help decrease the risks of heart disease, high cholesterol, and stroke.

Your Weight Loss Journey at INTERLOCKS
Our weight management program includes several key steps to ensure your success:

Initial Consultation:

The weight management program starts with a consultation with our Clinical Director & Nurse Practitioner, Marina Coletti, MSN, APRN, CNP, FNP-BC, to review your goals and what you’re looking to achieve. During this consult, an RN will also draw blood for any needed lab work.

Personalized plan:

Based on your initial assessment, we will prescribe an injectable weight-loss medication tailored to your needs and goals. We currently offer 4, 12, and 24-week plans. We can also provide referrals for additional dietary support.

Medication Administration:

One of our experienced nurses will administer your first few weekly injections to make sure this is the right medication for you. After that, you will have the choice of self-administering at home or continuing to come into our practice for your weekly injection. If you choose to self-inject, we will provide you with a welcome kit containing guidance and the next 4-6 doses for at-home administration.

Ongoing Support:

We are with you throughout your entire weight-loss journey, tracking your progress and continuing to offer guidance on diet, exercise, and medication use to help you stay on track. If you choose to do your injections at home, you will still come in for monthly appointments so we can track your progress, discuss any symptoms, and review your diet and exercise. Micro-dosing is also an option once you have attained your weight-loss goals.
